What to Bring to College Packing
Checklist
- Posters and poster
putty
- Reading
light or desk lamp
- Alarm clock
- Stereo or radio (if sharing a
room arrange with roommate to only bring one for the
apartment)
- Desk
computer or laptop (all rooms will be equipped for wireless
internet and wall plug Ethernet connection)
- Bedding: Sheets (for full size
bed), blankets, comforter and pillow
- Personal bathroom items: towels,
washcloths, soap, first-aid supplies, hair care products,
toothpaste, toothbrush, razors etc.
- Laundry basket or bag with
detergent
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Clothes for cold, mild and warm
weather and clothes hangers
- Slippers
- Power strip approved by housing
office
- Kitchen supplies (should be
coordinated with roommate): pots, pans, cooking utensils,
silverware, glasses, mugs, coffeemaker, can opener, spices for
cooking, dishwashing detergent and sponges
- Cleaning supplies for kitchen,
bathroom and windows
- School supplies: calculator,
dictionary, notebooks, pens, pencils, ruler, tape, scissors,
stamps, and backpack
